ABOUT 3D SKINMED RADIO FREQUENCY DERMAROLLERING

This advanced skin treatment has outstanding success for all skin types. It is the latest technology for skin lifting, tightening and rejuvenation by utilising minimally invasive micro-needles to deliver controlled radio frequency RF energy directly into various depths of the skin. The combination of radio frequency and percutaneous needling induces collagen production within the dermis and tightens elastin fibres to create a smoother, healthier, younger looking skin.

Results are visible approximately 4 weeks after first treatment, for best results a course of 3 treatments, 2 weeks apart, is advised.

Results will vary from individual to individual and for this reason, sadly, results can never be guaranteed.

THE SCIENCE

This treatment allows the practitioner to use Radio Frequency with a Derma roller to cause heat trauma to the Dermis while instilling thousands of micro punctures to the Epidermis in the same treatment. The 3D dermaroller has 480 micro-needles on the small head and 960 on the large head, compared to around 192 on a Genuine Derma roller. The trauma to the Epidermis & Dermis will stimulate type 3 collagen, encouraging cell regeneration and renewal.

The treatment will be followed with a complimentary 3D Skinmed Impact (worth £99). This is an Acoustic wave using Ultrasound energy which creates movement and changes within the skin. This acoustic wave increases the trans epidermal delivery of cosmeceutical products and the thousands of micro needle punctures to the surface ensure the products ingredients are deeply absorbed to benefit of the skin.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the 3D dermaroller treatment painful?
A topical cream will be applied to numb the area 30 minutes before the treatment is carried out, there is very little discomfort during the procedure.

What can you treat with the 3D dermaroller?
The treatment works well on acne scarring, pitted skin, ageing skin, pigmented skin or stretch marks. Results depend on the severity of the condition. How many treatments will I need?
Generally a course of 3-6 treatments is needed to get best results.

Will I be able to go back to work after treatment?
The skin will appear red after treatment and may feel sensitive, you are unable to apply make up to the face for 12 hours after the procedure, so you may want to wait until the skin has returned to normal. This normally happens within 12-24 hours.
